Give Thanks To The Lord

“Give thanks to the Lord, for His love endures forever.”

Give Thanks to the Lord - St Stephens Church A Devotional Essay by D F Raborn

I was recently at a knitting convention in Atlanta called “Stitches South” where I heard a whole lot of Southern and a whole bunch of yarns. During the Friday Night pajama party the mantra “ya git what ya git and ya don’t pitch a fit” was repeated often during the many prize giveaways.

Actually it sounds like a great reminder for the trials we experience at certain times of our life, menopause included! However, I think as we walk with Him, Jesus would like us to be more than just stoic on this journey.

Sermon – Rev Gil Shoesmith 04/27/14

“INHERITANCE”

Opening prayer:   I have been blessed with the privilege to present these words to you:   I pray that these words will bless each & every one of you – to the Glory of God.  Amen.

HE IS RISEN!   Today is officially designated “Easter 2” but for me following last week’s sermon I feel like is it “Anti-Climax” Sunday.   I mean you have all that build-up to the most important day of our Christian year and then  …..bang!   How do I follow that?    Well, ……………….

Palm Sunday – Ride On ! Ride On In Majesty

The choir of King’s College, Cambridge sing the Easter hymn, Ride On ! Ride On In Majesty. The choir are joined by the congregation. The trebles sing a verse on their own as do the gentlemen before the trebles soar to a lovely descant during the final verse.
