    Thanks so much for posting this. Rock Around the Clock is my all time favorite rock n roll song. I remember siting through the movie The Blackboard Jungle over and over just so I could hear the song play!

    I can remember my mother talking about people dancing in the aisles of the movie theatres in England when ‘Rock Around the Clock’ was played. She also had the privilege of going to see Ella Fitzgerald and Duke Ellington play with their big bands. A wonderful time for music.
